Faux gas cap insert for the 2015 and up mustang. 
Painted and clear coated with Urethane 2 stage base coat clear coat paint. The finish and color should last as long as the paint on your car will last. These can be ceramic coated but please wait 30 days after they’ve been painted before applying any type of coating or wax. They can be polished upon receiving them but the paint will continue curing for about 30 days. 
Installation: carefully remove your old insert. This will require some heat,time,and patience. It is best to apply masking tape on the chrome trim so you won’t damage it when prying off of it. Go around the old insert with a prying tool while carefully heating the area. There will be 2 snaps when removing these. There are 2 small tabs that have to be broken to remove the insert and there is also foam tape holding the factory insert. 
Installing the new insert: make sure the area is clean. Wipe down with alcohol and let dry. Peel and stick the provided 3m moulding tape that will be pre applied to the back of the insert.
